We've decided to continue to reduce the herd size to about 25 of our favorite does. We will have a few does for sale after they have weaned their kids in early summer of 2010, as well as a majority of the 50 + doelings and bucklings born this spring. We will continue in business under our well-established Treeline Boers name, but with a herd size of about 25, there will of course be less offered for sale each year. We plan to keep both purebred and commercial does in our breeding herd, but with the proven demand for commercial stock in recent years, we may lean heavier towards that market.
Since our announcement in July 2009, we have sold over 70 goats as breeding stock. Thanks so much for your business! Some of these goats have gone up north as far as Echo Bay, Ontario, and as far east as Bear Island, New Brunswick!
We still have a 1 purebred registered young 2009 buck available now. Our commercial doelings are sold out again for 2010, but we still have percentage and purebred doelings available. Check out our For Sale page!
